Reasonable price for a compact car. Ended up with a fun VW Beetle for a few days! Great for vacation!
We always use Avis. We are preferred customers, it's so easy to pick up our rental. They email a parking spot number the day we get in.
AVIS service was the way you want to rent a car, come in, leave and drop it back off in a matter of minutes. I didn't like my Malibu that much, but that's just the car snob in me.
Biggest negative is that the entire car rental site is like a 15 minute shuttle ride away from the terminal. Not Avis fault, but given how much CLE has downsized, that could be fixed and maybe Avis could help drive that.
I am so super happy with my Avis rental that I have already booked with them for my next trip to Cleveland. I got an amazing deal on an amazing car, and most of all, the young lady at the counter who handled my rental was fantastic. It was nice to see that somewhere out there someone still gets the concept of service with a smile. Thank you Avis!!!!!
Check-in has been quick here. They actually seem to know how to staff based on traffic. Good job by the management here to maybe use the data we enter about drop off times.
Cars are always ready and I'm always on the Preferred list. You'd think that wouldn't be surprising but often now I have to stop at the desk first.
I always rent with Avis for work and the Cleveland airport one is a bit better than many (Toronto is bottom of my list).
