Convenient location downtown in the heat of playing square district and close to good bars and spring event entertainment. Other hot spots are a quick Uber or public transportation ride away. Room was very nice and clean, great view of player square and the skyline as well as lake Erie.
Overall, the hotel was in nice condition and the front desk staff was helpful. The valet service was extremely responsive and retrieved the car multiple times during our stay. The only issue was that the room I booked was switched to two full beds instead of a king. Rooms also did not have a refrigerator
Well so far we've been here for just over an hour, front desk was friendly at check in, as was the valet staff, and the room looked great upon first glance. Boyfriend went in to use the restroom and found 2 dried urine spots on the toilet seat. We figured okay, mistakes happen. Called the front desk to have someone clean it up. Housekeeping showed up to take care of it, and we assumed it would be good to go. Boyfriend went back in a few mins after they left, the spots were still there. He used some water and some toilet paper and it came right off. Called the front desk back to let them know that we had just cleaned the dried pee ourselves. Went back into the bathroom to start getting ready for a Christmas party, and noticed that in the back corner of the counter in the bathroom was some old used bloody floss, as well as what we determined to be smeared make up. Please make sure to check your room for cleanliness if you decide to stay here. So far, not confident that the sheets and pillowcases are even clean at this point. Have never had this big of a cleanliness problem at any hotel.
The only thing this place has going for them is the pool/hot tub/spa. The staff are rude. The rooms don't have mini fridges, bars or handles in the bathroom, 1 thin sheet and 1 thin blanket. Sundry shop has NOTHING in it, empty shelves. Called desk at 11 pm to ask if they had feminine products, quickly told me they didn't and hung up. The blow dryer in my room is old and broken, sucked a chunk of my hair into it. Shower was warm if turned on to all the way hot. Oh, and if you have neighbors, you can hear their normal volume conversation through the wall. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
Nice room. Friendly staff. Great price. Good location. Walking distance from most places downtown. We will be back.
