I purchased some tables on credit and was laid off from work in 2004. I asked if they would consider taking the tables back and they said NO! After reviewing my credit report in 2014, I see that they have been running my credit every 3-6 mths since 2004. I spoke to MARC who stated I signed the contract allowing them to run my credit. Cleveland Accept Corp REFUSES to STOP running my credit. Please review your credit report carefully, This could be happening to you too!
Marc is a great guy and if you have credit issues he will still work with you. Never had any issues with his merchandise he was always more then fair! I am a lifetime customer
THIS COMPANY IS TRYING TO GET ME FOR $20,000 FOR A COUCH that was far less!!!!! Norton Furniture Aka Cleveland Acceptance Corp claims to have low prices and claims to help your credit. FALSE They do the exact opposite. It has been nearly 10 years or more now and I can not get them to stop pulling my credit report WITHOUT MY CONSENT, they just did it again this morning. Even after successfully filing bankruptcy in 2012, because of this company, they continue to try to garnish my wages and continue to pull my credit report completely disregarding the federal courts decision to discharge this debt in the bankruptcy. Note: back in 2012 they had already racked up so much interest that the balance was up to $11,804! Now in 2017 after the BK in 2012 they claim I owe them over $20,000 because of interest??? How do you accrue interest on an account discharged in BK court??? I have contacted the credit bureau & the company to no avail. Buyer Beware. If I could give less than 1 star I would.
