Cons: We were told 2 weeks for delivery, delivery ended up being split, 3 weeks for couch/chair/end tables. A month for dinning room table.
I had never been to this store before. It was awesome! Huge selection and great shopping experience. I worked with Tom K and he was fantastic. It was a laid back environment and I didn’t feel pressured at all. I was looking for furniture for a family room and bedroom. With Toms help I was able to find everything I needed at a great price. I would absolutely recommend this store and Tom K to anyone looking for furniture.
Took 3 days of phone calls trying to just get scheduled for a repair or even to get a return phone call, took a bad review and an email to get a call. I was told there is one furniture repair company that does most repairs wherever you purchase furniture from and they were backed up around 3 weeks. They sent out a worker from their warehouse, he was great, professional, showed up on time and fixed 3 of the 4 chairs quickly and satisfactory, one said needs to be replaced and I was told I won't get for at least a month, probably not until after Christmas.
First delivery guys were awesome, polite, professional and made sure everything was right before they left, I even tipped the delivery guys.
The delivery company sent out a repair person, he was also great, professional, very knowledgeable and did repair the scratches.
So, I guess it’s a great place to shop if you don’t mind waiting for what you buy. I don’t buy a lot of furniture so maybe the long wait is normal.
4 out of 6 chairs rocked, one was damaged, delivery guys said best they could do, need to call repair department and left, very discouraging.
Order the hot tub. Paid for it. They told me it would be delivered in 2 to 3 weeks. Here I am 2 months later and I don't even have an estimated date of arrival. I guess I should have just paid more money somewhere else to have better service.
People were great, helpful, friendly - low pressure. They had a good selection and good prices.
If I had the time I would stand in front of this place with a sign warning every customer how bad the service is.
Pros: We are happy with the quality of our furniture and the price we paid. The shopping experience was pleasant and the sales people were very nice, helpful and no pressure for sales.
Downside is having to wait over 2 months to get my furniture, when I was told “2 weeks” the day I bought it.
They put 2 scratches in our new floor.
In addition to my original rating that was written three months ago, pasted below, I am adding a comment now because the service just keeps getting worse. I had a problem with my hot tub. It cracked! It has taken 5 weeks of me calling everyday to get any action. Every time I call I'm told that someone will call me back and no one has ever called me back at all. Not ever!
A review of my experience shopping at Northeast Factory Direct, we purchased a new living room couch, chair, end tables and new dining room table with 6 chairs in October.
We went to a few other furniture stores- all that did is help us solidify our decision to buy our kitchen table here. The prices are great but the quality of the furniture is what makes it a great value. Awesome customer service- I never had someone leaning over my shoulder. I was able to browse without feeling like I was being watched- one thing that has been important to me! I feel like at all the other stores they treat me like I’m about to rob the place. Anyway, I will recommend to friends and family.
In conclusion, the over all experience from handling of getting issues corrected, being left with furniture not assembled correctly, damaged floor was reason I gave 1 star. They have been apologetic after the fact and stated this will be a learning experience for future customers but it just doesn't take away our sour experience.
