Excellent bike shop. The owner is knowledgeable and one of the best bike mechanics around. I have even been told that by other bike shop owners. He's a straight shooter and tells things like they are.
I went in to get my flat tire fixed. They suggested I upgrade to a better inter tube. When I got home my breaks started acting up and I had to un hook my back breaks since they didn't attach them correctly when fixing the tire. I took my bike back and asked if they could help me or just take a look at it..I wouldn't even have an issue if he wanted me to pay but the man insulted me and my bike by telling me I over paid for it and accusing me of trying to get free service. This place lacks customer service and the man is rude and speaks down to his customers. I will never step foot in that place again. He wouldn't even give me the chance to explain my issues before he started disrespecting me.
I bought my bike from this establishment years ago so decided to call them first for a repair. My back rim requires straightened or replacement. I had my bike model and rim model ready to see if I could get pricing information to determine when I could bring it in since I am on a budget. The man I spoke with on the phone refused to give me any pricing information and stated he had to see the bike. Um, I am trying to save gas and get my bike fixed so I don't have to drive to work! I called Joy Machine's Bike Shop with the same info and was immediately given a ballpark cost for straightened or replacement. I will be going there tomorrow and will provide my review after my repairs are complete.
Guy was a total JERK. I bought a bicycle inner tube for my fat tire bike for $23.00 n it had holes in it.Took it back 24hrs later n he said I could have a new one for $23. NEVER AGAIN.
