First time there the other day. I have been looking for some nice live plants for my freshwater aquarium. I'm from Akron, and the selection around here is not great. Had checked out a few other places before coming to RMS, and I wish I would have came here first for the plants! Great selection. Nice staff. Very helpful locating things I was looking for. Great experience. Will absolutely be back!
Great product selection and I've had good experiences too. But this last experience was pretty bad.

RMS is a great place for all your aquarium needs. A very good selection of fresh water fish, food and equipment. The staff are very kind and helpful, they seem to enjoy what they're doing and are happy to help and answer questions. Their selection of fresh water fish is very expansive and always available. Much more limited salt water selection though. They also gave a few other animals. Reptiles, birds, turtles and some small mammals like bunnies hamsters etc. Very limited though. I would recomend this place to anybody who enjoys fish as a hobby or is trying to get started.
Was in the store today. Called first to ask about a Battery powered Air Pump (Tip: If you can find them, it just may save your fish during a power outage). Was told they had them. When we got there, they did not. Employee was rude when asked about it.
Wow! This place is wonderful! I am a first-time aquarium owner, and I was a little overwhelmed when I dessert walked in. The selection is huge... very intimidating. U was helped out by a young man who was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and, best of all, patient! He answered all of my questions thoroughly and politely, and he never made me feel like an inconvenience (which I HAD to have been). He explained all the products and their differences, and at no point did he try to push me beyond my budget. I was so impressed that once I bought the whole aquarium set up I had been looking for, I purchased additional gift certificates for my friends so THEY could have the same great experience shopping for their own tanks (they have fish already). What a great experience! Even if you don't live nearby, it is worth ANY amount of extra driving to come here. Even the young woman who rang out my purchase was friendly and efficient! Thank you, RMS Aquaculture! I will definitely be back!
Amazing store, had many many varieties of fish that simply can't be found except at a great fish store. Was well stocked, very friendly and knowledgeable about the different fish and plants that they carried. Was looking for one particular plant that they didn't have but they put it on a request list and said that would look and see if they could find it. I will no longer be shopping at local big box stores like petco or petsmart now that I've shopped here. The prices may be a little bit higher on some things and cheaper on others but overall it is well worth the hour drive it took me to get there and worth supporting a great local business.
