The playhouses are beautiful and people dress casual and dress up, so don't worry about a dress code.
The shows, the food! Playhouse Square has it all. The best restaurants, plays and concerts all in the largest theater district outside of New York. Oh, did I mention the theaters? Five 1920's movie palaces completely restored to their original glory are the opulent setting for all this.
Beautiful Ohio Theater! A Christmas Carol was fantastic. The holiday tunes by the Legacy Chorus before the show were very entertaining.
Everything looks beautiful for Christmas. Love the show only gave it 4 stars because I struggled to hear through the whole thing. I have good hearing but think the mics need to be turned up.
Arrive early for parking. There can be multiple big events in Cleveland at once and parking in that area can be scarce. Check the local sports teams' schedules before going out so that you know what the traffic will be like.
Have always had a great experience here. The theaters are beautiful and the shows are very entertaining. Depending on what you see or attend, the ticket prices are reasonable. Also, the chandelier and flashing lights are very eye catching and a neat feature of downtown Cleveland. Traffic does tend to bottle up a bit around here due to valet service, but there is plenty of parking nearby to accommodate for all theaters.
