Christmas week 2017. Sat in the booth for several minutes while the servers argued over who had our table. They finally apologized and said the correct server was in the bathroom. Ended up not ordering there, went to Yours Truly Shaker instead.
Don't get the French toast. They have good bread here, but they use floppy thin sliced wheat bread dragged through egg with little flavor and they don't cook it to be crisp and hot on the outside, it was tepid and soggy.
Wonderful find!! I I would highly recommend this Diner to anyone! The food and the service for simply exceptional!
Over the course of several years I have enjoyed this restaurant less and less. In the last 2 years I have been there 7-10 times and each time it feels like we are a nuisance for coming in. This most recent time the restaurant was spectacularly loud, which made it miserable to hold conversation. So we tried to quickly eat and be on our way. It took forever to get a check and on our way.
Great place to dine after visiting JEDNOTA. Huge menu. Fresh squeezed orange juice to die for. Onion rings fried to perfection. Nice atmosphere.
Ive been ordering the steak and eggs at various Yours Truly locations for years. Never ever had a bad meal. The steak was always of high quality. Well that apparently has changed. On 8/10 the steak I ordered was definitely different. It was thinner, stringier, gristly and just overall not good. Its the kind of steak you'd expect at a cheap diner. So unfortunate. The "never had a bad meal" streak has ended. Everything else was acceptable.
