We had a fantastic meal and experience at the Marble Room. The restaurant itself is probably one of the most impressive I've ever seen, easily in my top 5 of all time. There is so much architectural beauty and attention to detail, it's almost difficult to take it all in without just wandering/snooping around (which we discussed), but you're there to eat dinner and don't want to disturb the other guests! It honestly feels like a museum or other national landmark.
Unfortunately I was disappointed after our experience last night at the Marble Room. I was extremely excited but left underwhelmed. The food was really good as you would expect from a restaurant this nice but not over the top good. The service is what truly caused my low review. It took over 30 minutes to get drinks, dinner took over 3 hours and when asked to Oder salads we were told “you already ordered appetizers” passively denying us...never got the salads. Good food but not worth it because of the service.
All of the dishes we ordered were excellent. Everyone had a little something different and we tried each other's meals. I was very impressed with my pork chop, and the hamachi appetizer was out of this world. I only wish there was more of it! As for the sides, the two standouts were the Mac and cheese and the creamed spinach.
Scott, our server, was very good and did an excellent job of answering any questions we had. He also made sure our meal stayed on schedule without being rushed; as we had a show to catch at Playhouse Square. Everything was timed perfectly and we had a wonderful time.
Despite only being open for a few months, I believe the Marble Room has worked out any kinks they may have previously had. Our experience was flawless, and what you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber and price point. We will absolutely be back! Hopefully next time, we will be able to do a bit more snooping around.
Came here for business dinner. Very nice setting. Impressive dining room. Impressive staff and service. I had the steak which was fine. Salmon for the wife was really good. Cannot comment on their raw bar.
An opulent dining room filled with detailed finishes and beautiful marble provide an amazing and breathtaking backdrop for this fine epicurean experience. The menu is quite innovative, and creative for a steakhouse due to the presence of a terrific assortment of seafood and accompanying options. The large size of the room led to a few glitches during our table service; but the efforts of our very knowledgeable waitress (who had extensive knowledge of the cuts of meat and the menu) more the made up for it. She steered us well through a eclectic but manageable menu. And we arrived at a wine pairing that made our steak and grilled king salmon divine! We highly recommend this SoHo-like gem that seats in Cleveland, OH!
We celebrated a friend's birthday at The Marble Room. The entire experience was nothing short of AMAZING! The actually building is impeccable. We ordered from dinner, sushi and sides menu. Everything was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. The sushi rolls were creative and visually appealing, as well. Our waiter, George, was extremely knowledgeable about the extensive menu and wine list, and helped us to make good choices. My friend did not want any dessert for her birthday, but still George whipped up something small but special! I will most definitely be returning.
