Not very clean and there are a lot of people just hanging around and loitering in groups, which doesn't always feel comfortable, especially at night. Stores are low quality and the place just feels run down. It's a shame because the architecture is beautiful but it just doesn't seem to be well maintained or draw an upscale crowd with good stores. Everything seems low end here.
It's a nice place. I always go there to take the train to the airport. Cleveland's public transportation is wonderful. Gets you there safe and very inexpensive.
Same as always, great atmosphere, fun dealers but never my first choice for gambling. They raise table limits when not that busy and slow drink service when not that crowded. Most of tbe time i went to bar for drinks. I still keep.going there hoping something will change but going out of state to gamble when I can is my first choice.
Aging mall that used to be a passenger train terminal for the major railroads with the exception of the ERIE Railroad who had their own terminal in Cleveland. A few stores and a movie theatre as well as a food court occupy the lower part of the building. Notable extras worth a look include the the main lobby at the entrance off Public Square, the observation deck which can be accessed for a small fee, Jack Casino located in the old Higbees Department Store which is in a wing of the tower, the historic Renaissance Hotel with opulent elegance from a time gone by in the tower opposite the Casino and two high end steak houses within walking distance (Morton's and Hyde Park).
This place is situated in one of the most fun parts of Cleveland and is within walking distance of many other venues. The prices here are a bit more than other places and I had to dock it a star for that. The wait is also usually quite long if you come in randomly during evening hours. But the few times I have been here the wait was worth it as the beer choices are plentiful and the food is tasty. The crowd is typical for the area and I would estimate the average age to be early to mid 20's.
